The director at Taiz Psychiatric Hospital expressed his gratitude to ITDC. He noted that the patients in the psychiatric sector previously been neglected. He was routinely seeking support after COVID-19 appeared in Yemen and especially in Taiz. They had not received any assistance regarding their need for cleaning and sterilization materials. He said, “After we had lost hope by not even having one bar of soap in the hospital, God sent us ITDC! And this was done without approaching them and asking for any assistance. They provided the hospital employees and patients with masks and Hygiene Kits, thanks to God.”

The director at Taiz al-Jamhori Hospital expressed his gratitude and said -“These are important materials. They will make a big difference in protecting us from COVID-19 as the hospital did not previously have such quality items.”

At Al-Amal Cancer Hospital, the ITDC team members were welcomed warmly by both the director of Al-Amal Cancer Hospital and the child patients. When the team began to distribute the Hygiene Kits to the children, they were surprised. After receiving it, one child hid his hygiene kit under his pillow so that no one would take it. This emotional sight had a great impact on the ITDC team. His smile encouraged them to continue to complete the distributions with much passion.
